Object history
Deutsch: Die am 1. Januar 1973 aus der Vereinigung der vier Orte Lautenbach, Matzenbach, Unterdeufstetten und Wildenstein hervorgegangene Gemeinde entschied sich für eine Fichte als „redende" Wappenfigur. Diese soll zugleich auf die großen Wälder dieser Gegend hinweisen. Der grüne Wellenschildfuß bezieht sich auf die Au sowie auf die zahlreichen Weiher und Seen der Umgebung, während der Bussardkopf an die vielen Greifvögel erinnert, die sich dort aufhalten. Das Wappen und die Flagge wurden vom Landratsamt Schwäbisch Hall am 20. Juni 1979 verliehen.
