Object history
Deutsch: Die drei Muscheln symbolisieren den Zusammenschluß der Gemeinden Ahrbrück (ehem. Denn), Brück und Pützfeld. Der Balken steht für die einheitliche Verwaltung, Schwarz, Rot, Gold für die Bundes- und Landesfarben Rheinland-Pfalz. Das Wappen lehnt sich in der Gestaltung an das Wappen der Familie von Friemersdorf, ehemals Burg Pützfeld, an. In deren Wappen waren drei schwarze Muscheln (Jakobsmuschel) auf Silber, zwei über, eine unter einem schwarzen Balken zu sehen.
