Description
English: USGS orthophoto of Upper New York Bay (south of Port Jersey on the eastern side of Bayonne, New Jersey) showing Caven Point Pier in 1994. The pier, initial site of the SS El Estero fire in 1943, is the thin white line in the center. The tip of lower Manhattan is in the upper right corner; Brooklyn is at the lower right. The two small dots near bottom center are Robbins Reef, near where the fire was put out.
