Notes Le succès des portraits de la famille impériale peints au pastel en Autriche pendant l'année 1769 assura à Joseph Ducreux de nombreuses autres commandes. En 1775, il fut ainsi chargé de fixer les traits de plusieurs membres de la famille royale française. Ces oeuvres étaient destinées à Madame Clotilde, soeur cadette de Louis XVI, qui, avant de partir pour Turin où elle devait épouser le 6
