English: Carte de visite of Colonel Jacob Gellert Frick (1825–1902), commanding officer of the 129th Pennsylvania Infantry (1862–1863) and 27th Pennsylvania Militia (Emergency of 1863), and former lieutenant colonel of the 96th Pennsylvania Infantry. He was awarded the U.S. Medal of Honor for his valor in Virginia during the Battles of Fredericksburg (December 1862) and Chancellorsville (May 1863).
