Summary

Description
English: South African Railways Class MJ1 no. 1668 at Butterworth, Eastern Cape.
(When I was a small boy in the 1950s, people had this silly notion to arrange photos in albums, to borrow David Kramer's phrase, "artistically skew". Some happy snappers who were of sufficient means in those days to own a box camera, even accommodated this practice by taking "artistically skew" pictures. Thanks to Nathan Berelowitz, there is now a second picture in the Class MJ1 article. There was no way I could level things out by cropping it without losing detail, so, with the locomotive now standing up straight, "artistically skew" it remained. Thanks, Trainman!)
