Summary

Description
English: Hurling team of Clare. "The day after Mr. Pooles native Waterford book their place in the All Ireland Hurling Final against Galway we have the Clare Hurling team from 1925? A fine bunch of young men in those old fashioned "sashed" jerseys representing their native Banner County. Note the young man on the right with the suspenders?
It was a game of two halves with your comments yesterday, straight from the throw in it was assumed that this was the Clare hurling team, but early in the second half the lack of hurleys was noticed and it became obvious that this is in fact the Clare Junior Football team, who were involved in a double header with the Senior Hurlers on the 10th May 1925.
Clare won the Football and Waterford won the Hurling match as can be seen from the Irish Times report."
