English: An early broadcast on television station KTVA. This was a children's program sponsored by the regional department store chain Monty's, broadcast from KTVA studios in the Mt. McKinley Building. In this photo, host Paul West is interviewing a group of boys known as the Buckeroo Mushers. This group and a group of girls known as the Buckeroo Musherettes, both sponsored by the Alaskan Sled Dog and Racing Association, appeared on the program to talk about mushing and the upcoming racing season.
