English: The picture of 1904 shows the first school building of Waldschule für kränkliche Kinder (translated: Forest school for sickly children) in the borrough of Westend, in the city of Charlottenburg, near Berlin, Germany. The very first open-air school worldwide was meant to prevent children from tuberculosis. It was located in the outskirts of Grunewald forest, since 1920 part of Germany's capital.
