Description
English: Santi Giovanni e Paolo in Venice. Chapel of our Lady of the Rosary or Chapel of Lepanto, in memory of the victory of 1571 against the Turkish fleet. The altar is surmounted by a Ciborium Girolamo Campagna (V.1600). Inside the statue of Madonna del Rosario, sculpted by Giovanni Dureghello in 1914.
Français : Basilique de San Zanipolo à Venise. Chapelle de Notre Dame du Rosaire ou Chapelle de Lépante en souvenir de la victoire de 1571 contre la flotte turque. Elle est sous le patronage de Saint Dominique. L'Autel est surmonté d’un Ciborium l'un et l'autre de Girolamo Campagna (v.1600). A l'intérieur: la statue de la Madonna del Rosario , sculptée par Giovanni Dureghello en 1914.
