English: Central part of an engraved escutcheon showing Robinson quartering Weddell, on silver gilt, from a dish made by Robert Garrard, London, 1802. Arms of Thomas Philip Robinson, 3rd Baron Grantham (1781–1859) (who succeeded as 2nd Earl de Grey in 1833). Robinson (Robinson baronets of Newby (cr.1660)): Vert, a chevron between three bucks standing at gaze or.[1] Arms of Weddell: Gules, on a chevron counter-embattled or between three martlets argent an eagle displayed between two escallops sable a canton ermine.[2]
