Summary

Description
English: In cassette mutagenesis, a mutagenized double-stranded DNA fragment is used to replace a fragment of the gene of interest, resulting in a mutated copy of that gene. This diagram illustrates this process using Golden Gate Assembly, but other cloning methods such as Gibson Assembly and standard restriction/ligation cloning can be used as well.
