Description
English: The image shows a Roman sarcophagus dating from the first half of the third century AD. The front is taken up by a frieze depicting the hunt of the Calydonian boar. At the centre of the relief, the hero Meleager attacks the boar with a spear. The sarcophagus is now housed in the Capitoline Museums at Rome.
