Heye, Kummetz, Thiele (v.l.n.r.) Scherl: Für entscheidende Taten in Norwegen ausgezeichnet. In besonderer Anerkennung ihrer Verdienste bei der Eroberung Norwegens hat der Führer und Oberste Befehlshaber der Wehrmacht auf Vorschlag des Oberbefehlshabers der Kriegsmarine, Großadmiral Dr. h.c. Raeder, das Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes verliehen an: Konteradmiral Kummetz, Führer einer Kampfgruppe (Mitte), Kapitän zur See Thiele, Kommandant eines Kreuzers (rechts) und Kapitän zur See Heye, Kommandant eines Kreuzers (links).
