DescriptionBluebird railcar no. 256 'Kookaburra' and 3 others at Telford, South Australia, 9 May 1987.jpg
English: Four Bluebird railcars at rest in the station yard at Telford in the north of South Australia. Built by the former South Australian Railways, they were owned at the time of the photograph by the (also now defunct) Australian National Railways Commission (AN). Encompassing the three types of Bluebird (250, 100 and 280 classes), the four cars are: power car no. 256 'Kookaburra' (leading); two 100 class trailer cars – no. 101 'Grebe' and 105 'Snipe' – and powered baggage car no. 282. The yellow-cross destination board indicates "North line". Passengers are wandering over the tracks in the yard; earthworks of the nearby Telford Cut coal mine are visible in the background. The occasion was a tour charter on 9 May 1987.
