English: North (rear) side of monument to Bishop Walter de Stapledon (d.1326), Bishop of Exeter, Exeter Cathedral. Showing three later marble tablets inscribed in Latin. Another longer latin eulogy by John Hooker (For transcript see: John Prince, Worthies of Devon, first published c. 1701, 1810 edition, pp.725-6), erected by Bishop William Alleigh in 1568, is not now visible.
