    • Henry Stafford, 1st Baron Stafford (1501-1563), son of Edward Stafford, 3rd Duke of Buckingham. After the execution for treason in 1521 and posthumous attainder of his father Edward Stafford, 3rd Duke of Buckingham, with the forfeiture of all the family's estates and titles, he managed to regain some of his family's position and was created Baron Stafford in 1547.

            • Mary Stafford, suo jure 1st Baroness Stafford (1619–1694) (sister of Henry Stafford, 5th Baron Stafford) who married William Howard, 1st Viscount Stafford, 1st Baron Stafford (1614–1680), second surviving son of Thomas Howard, 14th Earl of Arundel (peerage created jointly with wife, attainted 7 December 1680). She was created Countess of Stafford for life in 1688
                • Henry Stafford-Howard, 1st Earl of Stafford, de jure 2nd Baron Stafford (c. 1648–1719), son. (Earldom became extinct in 1762 on death of 4th Earl of Stafford)
