English: Overlooking the site of Archaeological Site 15McL16, a shell midden that was once located on the left side of the pictured area. Located off the northeastern side of Kentucky Route 138 on the eastern side of Rumsey in McLean County, Kentucky, United States, it is an archaeological site and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1994, it was declared part of the Green River Shell Middens Archeological District, a National Historic Landmark. |
