Description Itálica fue la primera ciudad romana fundada en Hispania, en el año 206 a.C., actualmente en Santiponce (Sevilla, España). Su anfiteatro se construyó en la época del emperador Adriano, entre los años 117-138 d.C. Tenía una capacidad de 25000 espectadores y medía 160 x 137 m.
