Description
English: Metlakatla, Alaska (Captioned "New Metlakahtla"), 1890s
Date early 1890s; construction of the church has not started, the town hall is complete, the mission school building is present. Resolution is not sufficient to see if the mission school is complete. The cannery is not present; the sawmill is visible beyond the point at left. The cannery would be built on the point.
