English: A U.S. Navy North American AJ-1 Savage from Composite Squadron VC-7 Det.48 Peacemakers of the Fleet on deck of the aircraft carrier USS Wasp (CVA-18). VC-7 Det.48 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 17 (CVG-17) aboard the Wasp during that carrier's world cruise from Norfolk, Virginia (USA) to San Diego, California (USA) from 16 September 1953 to 1 May 1954. Note the white front wheel.
