Description
English: View of Powis Street nos 125-179, Woolwich, South East London, UK. The west end of the street was widened in the 1930s and most of the buildings date from this period. On the corner of Parsons Hill is the Castle Tavern pub of 1937. The adjacent neo-Georgian shops were built in 1937-38. The former Woolwich County Court dates from 1935-36. In the background the former RACS Central Stores, now a Travelodge hotel.
