Summary

Description

Built from April 1995-August 1997. The VS was a mild facelift on the VR. The Senator was built by HSV, along with the Clubsport and the GTS. The Clubsport was introduced with the VN, it was the base car available at HSV, the GTS, introduced with the VP, was the upmarket version, it also got more power from a 5.7 litre stroked version of the base 5.0 V8. The Senator was the luxury car from HSV, based on the Calais, available with either the 185kw 5.0 or the 215kw 5.7
