Marines met with Williams at Center House for a meet and greet and were afforded the opportunity to listen to stories shared from their fellow Marine. Williams received the Medal of Honor for his “valiant devotion to duty” and service above self as he “enabled his company to reach its objective” on the island of Iwo Jima during World War II.
