History edit

In 2006, Fen recorded the Ancient Sorrow EP, released on CD and vinyl. In January 2009 they released their first full-length album The Malediction Fields on the Code 666 record label. In 2011 they released their second studio album Epoch on the same label, receiving positive reviews in Metal Hammer (8/10),[1] and Terrorizer magazine (7.5/10).[2] The track "A Waning Solace" from the album was included in Terrorizer Magazine's "10 Essential Metal Anthems" in April 2011.[3]

Fen's third album, Dustwalker, was released on 21 January 2013 on Code 666. To support the album, the band went on a 28-date European tour alongside Agalloch.[4] Fen released their seventh studio album, Monuments to Absence on 7 July 2023 via Prophecy Productions.
