Farah Eslaquit Cano (born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico on December 1991) is a Nicaraguan beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Nicaragua 2012 and will represent her country in the 2012 Miss Universe. She has a Diploma in Fashion, Modeling and Etiquette Course.
Miss Nicaragua 2012 Farah Eslaquit was crowned "Miss Nicaragua 2012 Winner" by Adriana Dorn (Miss Nicaragua 2011) at the Ruben Dario National Theater in Managua on Saturday night of March 17, 2012. Nicaraguan people who follow closely this pageants are a little aprehensive about her being chosen as the representative, due to the fact that she was not born in Nicaragua. Claudia Cuadra Cardenal and Alejandra Borge were the people's favorites to win the crown for 2012.
As Nicaragua's representative to the Miss Universe pageant, she took the title of 7th Runner-Up for the National Costume competition, ultimately won by China's Diana Xu.
