The Sycamores were led by third year head coach Ron Greene[2] and finished the season with an overall record of 7-21, while going 3-11 in the Missouri Valley Conference.[3]

Roster

The team lost 8 of the 15 players from the previous season.[4] A notable addition to the team was Eddie Bird, younger brother of former Sycamores' player Larry Bird.[5][6]
