Damien Boudjemaa (born 7 June 1985) is a French football player of Algerian descent who plays for the Liga 1 club Petrolul Ploiești in Romania.[1]
Club career
In his first (half) season with Petrolul, when the team avoided relegation, he managed to be become a key player. In the summer of 2012, there were rumors[2] that Rapid București would be interested to sign the player for the 2012/2013 season. He continued with Petrolul, but new rumors[3] pointed to the interest of the Ligue 1 clubs Valenciennes and Brest to transfer the player during the 2012/2013 winter break. Boudjemaa declared that he would like to play for Petrolul in European competitions, to reward the sympathy of the fans.
