Country Thunder is the name for two related, weekend-long, annual country music festivals. They take place in Florence, Arizona and Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.[1]
Arizona festival
The 2012 festival had a record-setting attendance of 76,396.[2] It was reported that it had 189 people arrested for underage drinking-related crimes.[3]
Notable performers have included Blake Shelton, Big and Rich, and Jake Owen.
Wisconsin festival
The 2012 festival took place from July 19–22. Performers included Blake Shelton, Toby Keith, and Jason Aldean.[1]
