Start edit

I started this category before realizing how many "Baptist" articles there are out there. If people disagree with this new category, let me know & I'd be happy to undo all my changes. If you agree, please help! Thanks. Samw 03:07, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Protestant? It is unfair to categorize all Baptist churches as protestants. Baptist is just a name. Some "Baptist" churches are realy protestants (former Roman Catholic) while some finds it's roots directly from Jesus Christ and never been Roman Catholic. --Larcen357 (talk) 02:34, 23 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

difference edit

What is the difference between an organisation and a denomination, for baptists in particular? For baptists this seems to overlap. Guidance needed.Obina 20:22, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
