Carolinas' Carrousel Parade

The Belk Carolinas' Carrousel Parade, known as the Carolinas' Thanksgiving Day Parade until May 2010,[1] is a Thanksgiving Day parade held in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. The parade was founded in 1947; Belk is the parade's title sponsor. Traditionally, it was one of the few Thanksgiving parades to be held in the afternoon as opposed to the morning, but moved to mornings beginning in 2008. The parade bills itself as the fourth-largest in the United States, with an estimated 100,000 spectators; the parade is also televised on WBTV.
