Caister High School is in the small seaside village of Caister-on-Sea in Norfolk, United Kingdom.
History
Caister High is a mixed Foundation School for 11-17 year old pupils which has held specialist Arts College status since 2002. Caister High School aims to strive to provide an appropriate high quality academic, technical and practical education to meet the needs of our pupils so that they can contribute to the ever changing economy. Caister High School is located on Windsor Road on the coast. The school teaches lessons such as Citizenship which develops the skills to adapt in the working world. They have recently updated the sports hall which you can book for different sporting activities out of school hours. The pupils are split into coloured houses which compete in competitions such as sport day and quizzes. The houses are Green,Red,Yellow and Blue.
Issues and Ofsted Reports
The Ofsted Report for 2006 claims Caister High School to be of adequate educational standards.
In 2010 it came to Caister High School and Nofolk Educational Services attention that 89% of the students who attend Caister High School are either Lithuanian or Russian and 4% are asain, the topic is still pending a resolution.[citation needed]
