Bradpole is a village in south west Dorset, England, in the Brit valley, one mile outside Bridport. As of 2001[update] it has a population of 2,270, 38.8% of whom are retired. It is the birthplace of industrialist and Liberal Party politician William Edward Forster (1818 - 1886).[1]
