Boe Olaleye, better known as Boe The Comedian , is a British born comedian known for his stand-up and character-based comedy. He is also a comedy writer and presenter.
Career
Boe was born the last of four children to Nigerian parents and grew up in Islington, North London. It was while studying for a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology at university that Boe would make his first foray into the world of stand-up comedy. 2009 marked a significant milestone in Boe’s career with two One-Man comedy shows at London theatre venues; Mark My Words [1] at The Bloomsbury Theatre and Did I Say That Out Loud [2] at Shaw Theatre.
Boe The Comedian has also performed at most of London’s top comedy venues including The Comedy Store (London), Jongleurs, Hackney Empire, Comedy Cafe and Choice FM Comedy Club (amongst many others). In Jan 2011 Boe made an appearance on The Vanessa Show on Channel 5 (UK) as a panellist and in series 22 [3] of Channel 4’s popular show Come Dine With Me. Boe also presents his own radio show [4] on London-based radio station Voice of Africa Radio, which is a mix of humour, light entertainment and topical news debate.
