Columbus Channel at Quinam Bay, south Trinidad
The Serpent's Mouth or Columbus Channel is a strait lying between Icacos Point in southwest Trinidad and Tobago and the north coast of Venezuela. It leads from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Paria.
