Bandits vs. Samurai Squadron (雲霧仁左衛門, Kumokiri Nizaemon) is a 1978 Japanese film directed by Hideo Gosha.[1] Based on the novel Kumokiri Nizaemon written by Shōtarō Ikenami.[2]

Jason Buchanan at AllMovie says that director Hideo Gosha makes a "triumphant return to the samurai genre with this plot twisting, nerve shredding tale",[3] but critic Alexander Jacoby calls it "a bland chanbara".[4]
