Bandar Charak (Persian: بندر چارک, also Romanized as Bandar-e Chārak and Band-e Chārak; also known simply as Chārak)[3] is a coastal city in, and the capital of, Shibkaveh District of Bandar Lengeh County, Hormozgan province, Iran.[4] The city also serves as the administrative center for Bandar Charak Rural District.[5] More than half of the town speaks Gulf Arabic.[6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,958 in 609 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 3,758 people in 711 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,066 people in 1,049 households.[2]
