The American School of Guatemala is an independent, non profit, non-denominational, college preparatory institution offering an academic program modeled after the educational practices and methodologies of the United States. It is founded on the principles of co-educational, bi-cultural (Guatemala-United States), bilingual (Spanish-English) teaching. The school is accredited by a U.S. regional organization and, as a laboratory school, serves as an educational resource to the community.
