Alexei Kuzmichov
Alexey Viktorovich Kuzmichev or Kousmichoff (Russian: Алексей Викторович Кузьмичёв, born 7 November 1963 or 15 October 1962 in Kirov) is a Russian businessman. Forbes magazine's The World's Billionaires list has ranked him as the 116th richest person on Earth in 2007, with $6.2 billion.
Overview
Alexei Kuzmichev is a shareholder of Alfa Group, which is the main source of his wealth. He was born in Kirov in northern Russia and studied at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys along with Mikhail Fridman, now a fellow billionaire. In 1989 he was one of original partners of Fridman's Alfa-Eco group, which has now become Alfa Group Consortium. Mr. Kuzmichev is the Chairman of the Advisory Committee of A1, a private equity company within by Alfa Group.
