Alexander Abramsky

Alexander Abramsky (January 22, 1898, Lutsk, Ukiraine – August 28, 1985, Moscow, Russia) was a Soviet composer.[1] He was known for his adaptation of folk music within his compositions. He wrote numerous symphonic works, chamber music pieces, and one opera. His best-known work is his piano concerto which premiered in 1941.[2][not in citation given]
