Albin Harrell "Rip" Collins (born September 27, 1927 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana) was a professional American football halfback and a punter in the All-America Football Conference and the National Football League. He played for the Chicago Hornets (AAFC) (1949), Baltimore Colts (NFL) (1950), and the Green Bay Packers (NFL) (1951).[1] Collins played collegiate ball for Louisiana State University and was drafted by the New York Bulldogs in the 6th round of the 1949 NFL Draft. He played professionally for 3 seasons (1 in the AAFC and 2 in the NFL) and retired in 1951.[2]
