The 2015 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship will be the twelfth edition of UEFA's European Under-17 Football Championship. Bulgaria will host the tournament,[1] and will also see the number of teams in the finals rise from 8 to 16. Players born after 1 January 1998 will be eligible to participate in this competition.
Venues
The tournament will be held in Plovdiv, Brestnik, Stara Zagora, Sliven, Burgas, Sozopol and Nesebar.[2] The selected stadiums that will host matches are:
- Lokomotiv Stadium (capacity 13,800 seats)
- Hristo Botev Stadium (22,000)
- Berkut Stadium (3,000)
- Beroe Stadium (17,800)
- Hadzhi Dimitar Stadium (10,000)
- Lazur Stadium (18,037)
- Sozopol Stadium (3,000)
- Nesebar Stadium (7,000)
Qualification
The final tournament of the 2015 UEFA European Under-17 Championship will be preceded by qualification matches, in which 52 national teams will compete to determine the fifteen teams.
