Federico Cinà (born 30 March 2007) is an Italian tennis player. He is a right-handed player with a two-handed backhand. He has a career high doubles ranking of No. 863 achieved on 12 June 2023.[1][2]
Early and personal life edit
From Palermo, he is coached by his father Francesco Cinà, the former coach of Italian tennis player Roberta Vinci.[3] His mother is called Susanna. He is a member of CT Vela Messina and trains at the Cinà Tennis Institute.[4]

Juniors edit
He reached the final of the Petit As tournament in 2021, where he lost to Czech player Maxim Mrva.[5][6]
In 2022, alongside Lorenzo Angelini and Lorenzo Carboni he reached the final of the European under-16 team championship.[7]
Cina reached the semifinals in the boys’ singles at the 2023 US Open.[8]
He reached the semi finals of the Boy's doubles at the 2024 French Open playing alongside Rei Sakamoto.
Professional edit
He won his first ATP point at the age of fifteen, competing in Italy, when he defeated Raffael Schaer at the 2022 M15 Aprilia.[9]
