Summary

Description
English: A specimen of William Addison Dwiggins's typeface Metro, using Monotype's Metro Nova, designed by Toshi Omagari, in the regular, medium and black weights (approximating Metrolite, Metromedium and Metroblack). I used OpenType stylistic sets to demonstrate key differences between Metro No. 1 and No. 2. (Metro Nova, with its revised character widths, doesn't look exactly like either, but it's close enough for comparison's sake.)
